Creating, manufacturing, and managing custom uniforms needs to be a flexible process. Whether you are a head of branding, procurement or customer wearing the uniform, it is our responsibility to listen to your needs and meld those requirements into a design that looks great and feels comfortable.

Florence Roby has over 50 years’ experience in clothing design and manufacture. We adapt our approach, resources and operations to suit each client’s unique situation. Please note that our bespoke clothing services requires a minimum order of 100 items.

Stage 1 - Research & Design

Our research involves both face to face and online meetings with one of our Business Development Managers. These initial meetings are crucial for our team to immerse themselves in your brand. We analyse data, review trends and draw on the vast experience of our design team to produce uniform concepts that best represent your brand’s image. Follow up client meetings would then see members of our design team be brought in where necessary so that you can directly discuss the details needed to bring your branding concepts to life.

Stage 2 - Development & Construction

Once your uniform concepts have been finalised, we will transfer the designs over to our product development team. This experienced team of garment engineers and pattern cutters will then start to turn your concepts into reality. You will receive real wearable samples, so that you can get an understanding of the garment’s comfort, fit and how the design looks on a person. At this stage we would also recommend wear trials, so that your staff can give in-put into the process before uniform sign-off.

Stage 3 - Manufacture & Production

Once the design sign-off is approved, an official procurement order will be required that details the quantities, sizes and style choices you wish to order. Our production team will then order the fabrics, trimmings and packaging necessary to fulfil your order. Your order will then be put into production at one of our factories located both in the UK and Lithuania. We ensure that all our uniforms are ethically sourced and produced, by controlling the manufacturing process ourselves. Having closely overseen your order from cutting through to packaging, we will make sure you are updated on the delivery time.

Stage 4 - Logistics & Distribution

After manufacturing, your order will be handed over to our despatch team. We will manage the storage and distribution of your uniforms, able to deliver in bulk to your hub or directly to individual wearers. Having extensive experience supplying uniforms worldwide, we have a specialist team that handle airport and seaport deliveries to ensure minimal customs delays. Our advanced barcoding system ensures highly accurate tracking from warehouse to door. We want you to be confident that when you order with us the distribution will be dependable and efficient.

Stage 5 - Aftercare & Management

Each of our customers is assigned a dedicated account manager who will serve as their main contact. This helps establish a strong connection between our teams, so that your specific brand and business requirements are catered for. They will ensure that your enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently while continuing to manage all future orders placed.
