Hatherley Manor Hotel and Spa
Samantha Beedon, Spa Manager at Hatherley Manor Hotel and Spa, has trusted Florence Roby to supply her team’s uniforms for more than seven years.
Hatherley Manor is an award-winning spa and hotel in Gloucestershire. The spa has six treatment rooms, swimming and vitality pools as well as a thermal suite hosting three heated chambers and experience showers. Outside there is a private spa garden.
“We started using Florence Roby when the spa opened seven years ago,” explains Samantha. “We asked various suppliers to share samples for us to try but, to be honest, Florence Roby was just the nicest and fit the team the best. I’d worked with them previously and had always been impressed with the quality.”
The spa team wears the Firenze tunic, chosen for its flattering silhouette and classic look. For the spa reception team, the Dasa design ensures a cohesive front-of-house look, while the hotel reception staff wear the Dasa dresses. “The teal colour we selected is a real favourite as it’s vibrant and it really fits with our brand colours,” says Samantha.
“No two team members are the same; we’re all different shapes and sizes. What I like is Florence Roby can just as easily supply me with a size 6 as a size 20, and their uniforms flatter every shape just as well.”
Each uniform is customised with the Hatherley Manor logo, helping the hotel and spa to maintain a polished image. “Florence Roby’s uniforms help ensure we present a united, professional image to guests,” says Samantha. “The staff find them comfortable and hard-wearing – they fit well and we all like that they don’t gape when we bend down. Plus they last really well, which is so important for a busy spa like ours.”
“They’re easy to launder too; just wash them and hang them up to dry, no ironing. They dry quickly and they’re good at repelling all the oils therapists come into contact with daily. Plus, when we place a new order, turnaround is always very quick. Florence Roby has our logo saved, which makes reordering simple and delivery super fast.”
