Monart Destination Spa
Listed in the top one per cent of all hotels in the world by Trip Advisor, Monart Destination Spa in Co. Wexford has what’s considered to be one of Ireland’s finest spas. Monart is Ireland’s only destination spa and has an extensive thermal suite with everything from saunas and steam rooms to a salt grotto, infra-red pro suite and caldarium. In its 15 treatment rooms, Monart Spa provides an array of spa treatments by Pevonia Botanica and Image Skincare.
The spa has been dressing its staff in Florence Roby uniforms for four years, opting for the Lucca tunic and trousers for the classic design, fit and quality. As well as standard larger sizes, the spa also purchases larger sized tunics, made to order.
“What I like most about Florence Roby’s uniforms is the fit and quality,” says assistant spa manager Pam Nolan. “As a five-star adults-only destination spa, appearances matter – our staff need to look professional at all times, whether they’re in the treatment room or on reception. Florence Roby’s uniforms wear well, they don’t look tired – even after extended use – and the team love that they’re so easy to wash and dry. They do need a quick once over with an iron, but we’re very particular about our staff looking pristine.”
“The shaping is flattering but modest and we get lots of positive comments about the teal colour. The team love the unforms and how comfy they are, especially for therapists during treatments. Being a spa attendant can be tough, you’re constantly on the go, lifting laundry, folding towels and moving around with them so the fact the uniforms are also breathable makes all the difference.”
“It’s helpful that Florence Roby has smart male tunics with the same stretch and breathability, plus maternity options which are free moving and elasticated. The material has a stretch in it, but I like that you can’t see the stretch. With around 45 staff wearing Florence Roby uniforms, each getting two to three tunics each, we place a lot of orders. The team are always quick to respond, and the entire operation is efficient and professional.”
